The following event information was provided to the Meetup.com Colorado Springs Skeptics group. I thought I would pass it on for those who might be interested.

I'd like to invite you to a one-day regional skeptics conference on Saturday March 22nd called "skepticamp." It'll take place in CastleRock.

This is the second such event of its kind, a novel attendee-driven format based on barcamp [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcamp] but focused on topics related to skepticism, including science, critical thinking, skeptical inquiry, etc.

As this format is entirely attendee-driven, we encourage everyone to participate in some way, either by leading a short talk (10-25min), volunteering to help, sponsoring, or simply taking part in the inevitable discussions.

The inaugural skepticamp took place last August in Denver and turned out to be a surprising success, with upwards of 30 attendees and ten talks throughout the day on topics ranging from Paranormal Investigation to Conspiracy Theories surrounding DIA. This round we expect to do even better, with more people and more talks.

When: Sat March 22nd - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Cost: This event is free!

Where: Philip S. Miller Library

Address: 100 S. Wilcox St. Castle Rock, CO 80104
