The hike this Sunday will be Seven Bridges Trail to Jones Park. Depending on the interest of the group, we may want to go beyond Jones Park in some direction (there are a few choices). Depending on how far we want to go on the trail, this can be anywhere from a relatively easy hike to somewhat difficult. Start: 5:00 pm

The Pikes Peak Skeptics Society (formerly the Colorado Springs Skeptics) is having a July social at John R.'s house. Bring some food or drink to share. Soda, plates, napkins and utensils will be provided. If you know what you are going to bring please post it with your RSVP. Directions will be sent out via email to those who are interested in attending. I live in the SW section of Colorado Springs near the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club. The hike this Saturday, August 15 will be Fox Run Park. This is a relatively easy hike in Black Forest with a few short steeper sections. One nice thing about this hike is it is mostly in the shade of trees. We would be leaving from my house (see directions below) in Gleneagle at 9:00 AM and carpooling to the hiking trail. Please bring enough water on the hike. Due to the number of people on the hike, it is extremely useful to me if I know who plans on attending the hike. Start: 5:00 pm

Location: Panera Bread LU from Independent Paranormal Consulting will be giving a talk to the Pikes Peak Skeptics Society. LU is working with various paranormal investigation groups and is studying their methodology, philosophies and group dynamic as part of her research for a book. She is a former researcher from the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society and appeared on Warning Radio. Please RSVP | ||
