The monthly meeting of the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs takes place on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. July’s meeting will be on the 25th and is entitled “Is Religion Bad For The Planet? Religion, Environment, and the Cost to Human Freedom.”

Stand-up comedian, television personality, political commentator, author, and actor Bill Maher will appear for one night only in Colorado Springs, Saturday, July 28th, at 8:00 pm, at the Pikes Peak Center. Mr Maher is known for his political satire and sociopolitical commentary. He supports the legalization of marijuana and same-sex marriage, and he serves on the board of PETA.
