Our monthly social dinner as been one of the Freethinkers biggest regular events for year. We often do these events at a member's home, or apartment community room. And sometimes we do them at restaurants that have a private space we can use. Savelli Italian Restaurant has hosted our event once before, and every thing turned out great. They have a good menu that everyone can order from.

Message received from Playwright Durland on morning of May 1: This is to inform you that the Cottonwood Center for the Arts cancelled the presentation of our play, Tribal Tales, without notice this morning. They gave no reasonable explanation. We are left with the task of trying to let everyone to whom we sent publicity know so they won’t show up tonight expecting to see the play.

Be shocked and enjoy the humor. What role do religious legends play in the wars, violence and injustice in today's world? Join us for another of Bill Durland's satirical bombshells as the Colorado Springs Reader's Theater Players tell the story.
