Rocket Science and Moon Myths

The first speaker is Tristan Schwartz of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society. Tristan is an amateur astronomer and science writer, recently published in the Sky and Telescope magazine. He will be talking about many popular moon myths such as the "lunar effect" and the "supermoon". 


And the final speaker of the night is Marlowe Cassetti. During the Apollo program he served as Chief of the Guidance & Performance Branch of NASAs Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas. He will be talking about how we landed men on the moon, and why so many people think we didn't.
