Join us for geocaching, hiking and a barbeque picnic on Sunday, June 1st, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Fox Run Regional Park. This will be fun for kids and adults alike. If you've never heard of geocaching, come along, find out some more and join in! Children will learn how to follow a compass, how to use a GPS unit and how to collaborate with each other to find the buried treasure! Once we have finished treasure hunting we will grill a few hotdogs for those who wish to stay around and have fun at the park. For those who have smaller kids, there is a very nice playground near where we will meet.

Geocaching will get your kids out and walking in the forest with adult supervision, so it's a great way to get them into the fresh mountain and appreciate nature as well! To get to Fox Run Regional Park, take I-25 north to the Gleneagle Exit at the North Gate of the Air Force Academy. Exit east and follow North Gate Rd for 2.9 miles to Roller Coaster Rd. Turn left onto Roller Coaster Rd, then left onto Stella. The park entrance will be on your right. Please see the following mapquest to Fox Run Regional Park: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/2110+Stella+Drive+Black+Forest+co/

We will meet in the car park behind pavilions 4 and 5. When you enter the park from Stella Drive, take a left turn. You will see pavilions 4 and 5 to your left, near a playground and a restroom area. Take a left turn to go up a hill to get to the car park behind the pavilions.
