PLAY UNEXPECTEDLY CANCELLED BY VENUE ON DAY OF DEBUT
Message received from Playwright Durland on morning of May 1: This is to inform you that the Cottonwood Center for the Arts cancelled the presentation of our play, Tribal Tales, without notice this morning. They gave no reasonable explanation. We are left with the task of trying to let everyone to whom we sent publicity know so they won’t show up tonight expecting to see the play. We are extremely sorry and cannot explain this rude event.
