Please join us for our November 2013 meeting for a presentation about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Colorado Marketplace.  

Many people are wondering how PPACA is going to change the health insurance industry.  Find out how the Connect for Health Colorado Marketplace will operate and what changes are coming to individual and group health insurance. We will discuss subsidy eligibility and the application process.  We will also discuss how this will impact people who already have insurance.

Summer Westerbur has been a licensed broker for over ten years. Licensed and owning a boutique agency since 2004, she is currently president of Kairos Insurance Group which specializes in employee benefits, individual health plans, and Medicare supplements. She has been tracking closely the changes in the area of health insurance in light of PPACA.

She studied Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has a 5 year old son.  She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and Southern Colorado Association of Health Underwriters.
