Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

Due to weather and trail conditions, the hike that was scheduled for Sunday, January 2nd at Ute Valley Park has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 9th. There are several trails from which to choose. They are all relatively easy trails. The parking lot is off Vindicator Drive a bit east of Centennial Blvd, but it is very small and very crowded on weekends. Therefore, we will carpool from the Woodmen Valley park-n-ride. To get there from Interstate 25 and Woodmen Road, go west to the first stop light, turn left (south) on Corporate Drive, turn right (west) at the first intersection onto Mark Dabling Blvd, take an immediate right turn into the parking lot. We will leave the Woodmen Valley park-n-ride at 10:00 AM.

For those who would prefer to meet at the trailhead parking lot, it is a bit east of Centennial Blvd just south of Vindicator Drive. However, I would prefer that almost no one does this because the parking lot is extremely small.

Due to the number of people on the hike, please let me know if you plan on attending the hike. If you change your mind, please let me know that also.
