Ever wondered about the geology and history of Garden of  the Gods? I know that I have. The FTFK group will be taking a guided tour for about 45 minutes, followed by a family picnic. This will be the last chance to get together outdoors for a few months!The tour will start at 11am, so please arrange to arrive there by 10.45 so we can start promptly.This will be a great learning experience for the kids.

Meeting point : Meet in the North Parking Lot (signposted as the Main parking lot)

From 30th Street, go west toward the park on Gateway Road (this is the main road into the park).  The road will veer right and turn into Juniper Way Loop (this is a one way road).  Keep going until you see the north main parking lot (on the left side) and park in that area.

For the picnic we will go to the South Spring Canyon picnic area. There are only two picnic areas in the Park, this being one. If you follow the one way street through the Park, once you see the sign for the Trading Post (NOT the visitor center) head towards there. South Spring picnic area is right near to the Trading Post.
