Come and enjoy good food and great conversation with other Freethinkers! Socials usually begin at 6:00 pm and break up around 9:00 pm. Socials are normally on the second Saturday of the month, but this month’s is on the third Saturday, the 19th. Why? No one offered to host a social in his or her home, so the Freethinkers reserved a room at a restaurant. However, there was a conflict — the Saint Patrick’s Day parade is on the second Saturday, we couldn’t get a reservation that day and had to move the social to the following week.

Since the social will be in a restaurant, it is not a potluck; do not bring any food or drink — just bring yourself, your spouse and/or friend, and your appetite!

The social will take place at a new Italian restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs, "Red Gravy," located at 23 South Tejon Street. It’s in the location that was occupied for many years by the "Olive Branch" restaurant. There's a nice private room in the rear which we’ve reserved for our social.

"Red Gravy" has good food, a nice selection of wines, beers, and cocktails, and a very friendly staff. There’s a parking garage right around the corner at Colorado and Nevada Avenues if you can’t find parking on the street. Since this is an evening event, parking at the garage is only a dollar and parking on the street is free (beginning at 6:00 pm).
