On Tuesday, June 28, 5-8pm at the Tim Gill Center for Public Media. The 2016 Powerful Women series of Colorado Springs' Pikes Peak Women group continues with a two-part screening and discussion of the documentary TRAPPED by award-winning filmmaker Dawn Porter. Her investigation goes to the front lines of the controversial battle being waged over so-called TRAP laws — Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers – and is told through the eyes of doctors, clinic owners, and staff fighting to keep their facilities open in the face of hundreds of new laws passed since 2011.  

The documentary TRAPPED was first broadcast on PBS on June 20, 2016.
