The Free Thought Free Kids group of Colorado Springs will be hosting a Science Matters party entitled "Extreme Electricity" on February 8, from 1-3 pm.  There will be an exciting (and safe) demonstration as well as hands-on projects for all ages.  We will be hosting this party at the GILL Foundation, 315 E. Costilla St., 80903.  

If you are not a member of the FTFK group please email us at ftfk@freethinkerscs.com There will be a nominal fee.  The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs have agreed to pay for half of the $150.00 cost of this party.  Attendees will be responsible for covering the other half ($75.00).  The cost will be divided per family and payable by check or cash on the day of the party.  Obviously, the more families we have, the cheaper it will be.  My goal is at least ten families - making the cost $7.50 per family.  Not bad for an afternoon of entertainment.  When I receive a final count, I will email all who responded with the exact cost.  

The Science Matters party will last for approximately one hour.  Bring a snack or drink if you'd like to stay and socialize after the party.  Hope to see you there!
