"Most Americans are too stupid to vote" - Former Rep. Tom Tancredo

If you are reading this article and you are of age to vote, then you are almost certainly either too stupid to do so, or the Founding Fathers certainly would never have allowed it. So is the opinion of former Colorado Rep Tom Tancredo, voiced on a Christian talk radio station in Dallas on Monday during a phone-in.

How do I know this? Well, first of all there is a good chance that if you are reading this site that you would have voted Democrat in the last election. If you didn't vote Democrat, there is a good chance you are a Freethinker. If you are not a Freethinker, there is a good chance you are at the very least not an evangelical Christian. Mr. Tancredo's opinion is that very few Americans fully understood Pres. Obama's policies voiced during the election campaign and that means that "Most Americans are too stupid to vote" (yes, he really did say that and he really did use that language). Mr. Tancredo is also of the opinion that the Founding Fathers would never have allowed 'so many classes of people' to vote. Freethinkers and atheists? I don't think so. What about women? What about African Americans? He didn't say . . .

But the implication was that the only people in America today who are educated enough to vote and who belong to the right class to vote are . . . Christians.
