The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs are very pleased to present Roland L Halpern, the Community Relations Coordinator of Compassion & Choices, a national nonprofit organization which devotes itself to creative legal and legislative initiatives to secure comprehensive and compassionate options at the end of life. Compassion & Choices promotes informed end-of-life decision making by educating the public and advising health care professionals. Mr Halpern will discuss the challenges associated with the controversy between religious dogma and individual human rights related to end-of-life decisions.
