Colorado Springs Secular Community Annual Picnic 2017

Saturday August 26, 2017
11:00 AM

Black Forest Regional Park
4700 Shoup Road

Join Pikes Peak Atheists, the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs, and other Colorado secular groups at Black Forest Regional Park for the annual Colorado Springs Secular Community Picnic. This yearly regional secular event is an opportunity to meet with others from secular groups in the Colorado Springs/Denver/Pueblo areas.  The Colorado Springs Secular Community Picnic has been occurring annually in Colorado Springs with the goal of bringing regional secular groups, individuals, and families together since 2014.

This is a family friendly event as there is a reserved pavilion. Bring your favorite dish to share, brush up your corn hole game, and come out to meet other secular families and friends for a great day at the park!

DIRECTIONS: From the Springs, take Powers until it dead-ends into Interquest and turn right. (Or take I-25 to Interquest and proceed past Powers). Take your first right onto Shoup Rd. In less than 2 miles, you will see the huge sign for Black Forest Regional Park on the NE corner of Shoup and Milam Rd. Turn left on Milam. Do not go into the pull out parking area- instead proceed past it to the road entrance and enter the park that way. There is parking on both sides of the huge field. Look for our sign, we will be there!
