You are cordially invited to join the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs for Movie Night at Penrose Public Library, 20 North Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs.

The upcoming event is Thursday*, February 22, at 6:30 pm. We will view God Said “Ha!” written and directed by Saturday Night Live’s Julia Sweeney. This is a motion picture presentation of Ms Sweeney’s stand-up performance. Recently single, she was looking forward to the future in a cozy bachelorette bungalow in Hollywood when her idyllic life was instantly changed. Her brother, along with their parents, moved into her tiny place for a year she’ll never forget.

We have reserved the combined Aspen and Pine Rooms in Penrose Library for these events. As you enter the building from Cascade Avenue, go straight ahead to the information desk, which is marked by the word “ASK” in large letters. Turn right and follow the wall to your right, past the elevator, and look for the big blue Freethinkers sign.

Once again, that’s God Said “Ha!” Tuesday, February 20th, 6:30 pm, at Penrose Public Library, 20 North Cascade Avenue. We hope you can join us!

*PLEASE NOTE: Movie Nights have been occurring on the third Tuesday of each month, but due to a scheduling conflict, the next three presentations will be on the fourth Thursday of the month — the dates are March 22nd, April 26th, and May 24th.

Beginning in June, Freethinkers of Colorado Springs Movie Nights will once again occur on the third Tuesday of the month.
