Colorado Supreme Court Justice at Humanist Legal Society meet March 21
Colorado Supreme Court Justice Melissa Hart will discuss contemporary
legal issues with Humanist Legal Society board member Maha Kamal. The
discussion will cover a wide range of constitutional issues and other
areas relevant to today's practicing attorney. Q&A to follow. One
representative of the Society added " I believe the discussion will
include various constitutional and legal issues that would be of interest
to humanists, such as church-state separation, reproductive rights,
the proper definition of religious freedom, and LGBT rights, and similar
issues." The Justice's remarks will be followed by a question and answer
session.
The event will be at the History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway Street,
Denver.
Doors open at 5:30 pm with appetizers and cash bar. Event begins at 6:30
pm.
