Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

Weather permitting, there will be a hike up Seven Bridges Trail to Jones Park on Sunday, August 15th. Depending on the interest of the group, we may want to go beyond Jones Park in some direction (there are a few choices) and/or come back a different way and making a loop. Depending on how far we want to go on the trail, this can be anywhere from a relatively easy hike to somewhat difficult. It is also possible for those who want to go only part way to Jones Park to ride separately to the trailhead and return to their vehicle by themselves. This is one of the most beautiful trails in the Pikes Peak region and is well worth it even if you go only a short distance up the trail. We will be meeting at the park-n-ride between Nevada and Tejon under interstate 25 and carpooling the trailhead.

Please bring enough water and snacks for the hike.

Due to the number of people on the hike, please let me know if you plan on attending the hike. If you change your mind, please let her know that also.

We will be leaving the park-n-ride between Nevada and Tejon under interstate 25 promptly at 9:00 AM.
