David Silverman is President of American Atheists and has been an atheist since he was 6 years old. Following a traditional Jewish education (including a Bar Mitzvah), he attended Brandeis University, where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science while honing his debating skills with theists in numerous informal debates. After earning his MBA from Penn State, he married one of the Brandeis theistic debate opponents. They currently have a 20-year "mixed marriage" and a daughter, who is following in Dad's atheist footsteps.

Dave became an activist in 1996, and soon became NJ State Director. He also founded the Alliance of Lucent and AT&T Atheists and Secularists, the first employee club of its kind. He was tapped to be the National Spokesperson in 2004, and then was named Vice President in 2008. The Board of Directors elected Dave as President in September of 2010.

Mr. Silverman has appeared on most major news programs including The O'Reilly Factor, Scarborough Country, The Situation with Wolf Blitzer, CNN' Paula Zahn NOW, Nick News, Hannity and Colmes, Fox and Friends, CN8's It's Your Call, and NPR's All Things Considered. David has debated such opponents as Dinesh D'Souza, Bill Devlin, and John Rankin.

Dr. Alex McFarland, talk show host, Christian speaker, world religion and culture expert, and director of the Christian worldview center at North Greenville University is world-renowned in Christian apologetics (one who explains and rationally defends faith). Two new books have been released this year: 10 Questions Every Christian Must Answer, and just out, 10 Answers for Skeptics. McFarland is the author of many books, including his devotional book series for teens: Stand: Seeking the Way of God, Unleashing the Wisdom of God and Diving Into the Word of God. Three additional books are scheduled for release in 2012.

Dr. McFarland is the host of Sound Rezn, airing across the country on the National Religious Broadcaster’s Network and he also co-hosts Explore the Word with Marvin Sanders on the American Family Radio Network, airing daily on nearly 200 stations. He served as the president of Southern Evangelical Seminary in North Carolina and has spoken in hundreds of locations throughout the U.S. and abroad, and has been interviewed by all the top Christian and secular media outlets. He spent over two decades training teens and adults in biblical worldview reasoning, much of that time working with Focus on the Family. Through his Stand Weekends for teens, and the annual National Conference on Christian Apologetics, Dr. McFarland works toward his goal of introducing new audiences to the truths of Christianity.
