This our Second Monthly Freethinkers Family and Kids gathering of 2011.
We'll gather at the Hale House ( 6158 Briarcliff) at from 1 pm to 4 pm. of February 12. And that happens to be Charlie Darwin's 201st birthday. Maybe we should have a party.??!!
We might plan on some light finger snacks, but everyone should arrive happily fed.
Come and enjoy good food and great conversation with other Freethinkers! Bring a dish to share, bring your spouse and/or friend, and bring water, soft drinks, a bottle of beer or wine, or whatever you’d like to drink. Coffee and tea will be provided by the host(s). The socials begin at 6:00 PM and usually break up around 9:00 PM. Remember to mark your calendar; socials are on the second Saturday of the month. Please click "read more" for complete details.
In systems, feedback structures produce patterns of behavior made up of the events we experience. Unless we understand system structure it's very difficult to determine what actions to take and which policies to adopt in order to positively affect system behavior. Instead of addressing fundamentals, we apply band-aids. When band-aids don't work, the prevailing "common sense" is that it's obvious we should do nothing. But common sense "derived from experience" is inadequate for addressing the problems we face.
