The Center for Religious Diversity and Public Life at UCCS is hosting an event on Tuesday, Nov. 26th at 5:00 pm. The event will feature a lecture from Dr. Arindam Chakrabarti, University of Hawaii, Manoa. He will be speaking on the question of God from Buddhist and Hindu perspectives. We are excited about this event as Dr. Chakrabarti is a very important voice in Eastern philosophy of religion. Refreshments will be provided, Park free in -in the parking garage, level 4. This will be in the University Center Theater, room 302 There is no charge for this event. | ||

The coffee and breakfast is optional, but very good. The conversation is free flowing and undirected. Last month we had 8 folks at one table and 4 at another. One new person, a lawyer who told of being condemned to hell by a passionate christian client who didn't like his legal advise. We heard some great stories about working with autistic kids from a UCCS student. He also advised us about a "great new christian" movie "God is not dead" he saw hyped on facebook.
