Long time member, Lisa Murphy Noon's husband Jerimy Noon died on June 5, 2015. There will be a memorial service for him at Hillside Gardens Event Center on Friday July 10, 2015 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Bring a dish to share, bring your spouse and/or friend, and bring a bottle of beer or wine or whatever you’d like to drink; coffee and tea are provided by the host(s). The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs are hosting the area’s secular groups for a shared picnic and get-together. It will take place on Saturday, August 8th, from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm at Pavilion “C” in Memorial Park. We hope you’ll join us! Bring something you would like to drink, a dish to share, etc., and a smile! NOTE: THERE ARE NO GRILLS PRESENT IN MEMORIAL PARK, if you want to grill onsite you will need to bring a portable grill. The various secular groups have been evolving and it’s time to get to know one another. Prospect Lake is nearby and there’s playground equipment for the little folks, but if you have lawn games or anything else fun, please bring them along, too.
