What is it that our children are being taught about human sexuality in the public schools of Colorado Springs? Is "abstinence only" the predominate, or perhaps the only message? What about the sexuality of gay and lesbian students? Join us on August 25th as Duncan Forbes, the Education Program Manager of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, discusses these and other questions.

Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

Weather permitting, there will be a hike up St Mary's Falls Trail on Sunday, September 5th. Depending on how far we want to go on the trail, this can be anywhere from a relatively easy hike to somewhat difficult. It is also possible for those who want to go only part way to St. Mary's Falls to ride separately to the trailhead and return to their vehicle by themselves. We will be meeting at the park-n-ride between Nevada and Tejon under interstate 25 and carpooling the trailhead.

Please bring enough water and snacks for the hike.
