You are not (at all) alone - by Groff Schroeder

In a society where seemingly ”everyone” appears to believe in (and in many cases even “worship”) alleged supernatural beings (whom for some reason remain completely and reliably undetectable), those of us who do not share these beliefs may begin to feel alone and isolated. However, it is easy to forget that almost everyone is at least 99% atheist, not believing in (let alone worshipping) the supernatural beings:

Aether, Aizen Myoo, Akuma, Amida, Aprhodite, Apollo, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Baduhenna, Baldr, Baku, Benzai, Beyla, Bil, Bimbogami, Bishamonten, Bosatu, Bragi, Chaos, Chimatano, Chujohime, Ceres, Consus, Cybele, Dellingr, Demeter, Diabutsu, Diakoku, Diana, Dianichi, Dionysus, Ebisu, Egeria, Eir, Emma O, Eostre, Erebus, Flora, Forseti, Freyja, Freyr, Frigg, Fudo, Fugen, Fujin, Fukurokuju, Futen, Gaia, Gaki, Gama, Gefjun, Gersemi, Gna, Gullveig, Hachiman, Hamori, Hades, Hariasa, Heiki, Heimdall, Hemera, Hel, Hephaestus, Hera, Heremod, Hermes, Hestia, Hlin, Hnoss, Hoji, Hoori, Hotai, Hotoke, Hretha, Idzumo, Ilmr, In, Inari, Irpa, Izanagi, Izanami, Jikoku, Jimmu Teno, Jizo, Jo, Janus, Jupiter, Jurojin, Kami, Kannon, Kanzeon, Kappa, Kasha, Kobo, Kojiki, Kojin, Koki Teno, Kongo, Kronos, Kuku No Chi, Kunitsu Kami, Kusanagi, Kwannon, Liber, Libera, Lofn, Marisha Ten, Mars, Mawaya No Kami Miroka, Miroku, Mithras, Momotaro, Monju, Nanna, Nerthus, Nicheren, Ninigi, Njorun, Nott, Nyorai, Nyx, Odin, Oanomochi, Oho Yama, Okina, Okuninushi, Oni, Ops, Otohime, Ouranos, Poisidon, Pales, Pomona, Posidon, Quirinis, Raiden, Raiju, Ran, Rindr, Ryujin, Saga, Samebito, Sanbai Samo, Sangen Samo, Sandraudiga, Saturn, Sengen Sama, Shojo, Shoki, Shoko O, Shoten, Sif, Sigyn, Sjofn, Snotra, Sol, Sukuna Biko, Susanoo, Syn, Tartarus, Ten Gu, Ten Mike Nu, Thor, Toyotama, Tsukiyomi, Tyr, Uba, Uke Moshi, Ullr, Uzume, Vali, Var, Ve, Vesta, Villi, Vor, Yakushi, Yngvi, Yo, Zenmyo, Zocho, Zephyrus, Zeus and Zisa.

Most everyone refuses to believe in many more gods than they choose to have belief in, so if you choose to not believe in one more supernatural being than they do you are not that different – and not that alone. If they want to talk about [insert supernatural deity name here], you could always ask about their belief in one or more of the deities above as a means of launching a discussion about your common atheism with regard to that supernatural being. Chances are the subject will change to something less supernatural rather quickly.

Note: the list of more than 200 gods and goddesses above comes from only Greek, Japanese, Norse and Roman mythologies.
