Ever wondered about the geology and history of Garden of the Gods? I know that I have. The FTFK group will be taking a guided tour for about 45 minutes, followed by a family picnic. This will be the last chance to get together outdoors for a few months!The tour will start at 11am, so please arrange to arrive there by 10.45 so we can start promptly.This will be a great learning experience for the kids. | ||

The Free Thoughts - Free Kids group will be getting together on Sunday October 26th from 1-3pm for the kids to design an entry for the HumanLight Holiday Card and Ornament design contest Please get creative and bring craft materials for all the kids to share (and make sure to read all the information below on what kind of things we are looking for the kids to design). Per the directions for the contest itself, we will take digital photos of all the kids entries to be sent to the organizing committee. Details | ||

Where: Time: Swing on by and join Drinking Skeptically for some good Irish pub food, drinks, and great conversations. We will be meeting at Jack Quinn's Irish Alehouse. Ask the front desk hostess to find out which table we are seated at. There is dollar parking at the Plaza of the Rockies, which is one block south from the pub. The hike this Saturday will be Section 16 - also know as the Palmer loop trail. This is a easy to moderate hike to go up but quite steep coming back down. There is also a very nice side trail overlooking Crystal Park that we will probably want to take. | ||
