Once again election time is close at hand. On October the 27th, at 7:00pm, join other thoughtful citizens in the Gill Foundation Building located at 315 E. Costilla. The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs will be holding an open discussion hoping to gain a greater understanding of the issues on the November 2 ballot. FTCS does not take any official positions on the issues, but strongly hold that each of us are entitled to our individual opinions.

Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

The hike this Sunday, November 7th will be Section 16 - also know as the Palmer loop trail. This is a easy to moderate hike to go up but quite steep coming back down. There is also a very nice side trail overlooking Crystal Park that we will probably want to take.

Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

There will be a hike on Bear Creek Trail to Jones Park on Sunday November 21st. This is a relatively difficult hike with a significant elevation gain. The starting elevation is about 6600 ft and Jones park is about 8600 ft. The entire round trip is about 8 to10 miles. It is also possible for those who want to go only part way to Jones Park to return to their vehicle by themselves.
