Hi Hiking Freethinkers, Weather permitting, the hike on Sunday, April 17th will be Greenland Open Space Loop. (Waldo Canyon came in a close 2nd in the votes.) Part of this hike is actually also the Santa Fe Trail north of Palmer Lake. It is a relatively easy 8 1/2 mile hike. We will carpool from my house to the trail head (on County Line Road just east of Palmer Lake). We will leave my home at 10:00 AM. Please bring enough water and snacks for the hike. | ||

Hi Hiking Freethinkers, The Aiken Canyon hike scheduled for tomorrow, April 24 has been canceled. There is supposed to be snow on the trail this evening and rain tomorrow during the day. A large part of that trail gets extremely nasty to walk on when it is wet. There has been a request to not reschedule the Aiken Canyon hike for May 1st.
