The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs accept points of view verified by engineering, logic, mathematics, and science rather than beliefs stemming from authority, emotion, dogma, or tradition. Founded in 1993 in response to Colorado's Amendment 2, the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs advocate the use of reason, defend the separation of church and state, and support interpersonal dialogue, non-violence, human rights, civil rights, reproductive rights, and equality for all.

June 21st -- Summer Solstice Party at Jack Quinn's

06/21/2013 - 18:00
06/21/2013 - 21:00

UPDATE -- The party was to have taken place upstairs in "Jack's Attic" but will instead be held downstairs on the ground floor. Apparently, the group with whom the Freethinkers were to share the upstairs space will be much larger than Jack Quinn's staff anticipated, leaving us insufficient room, so we'll have space reserved by the bar downstairs. We're assured that we'll be just as happy in this new location! Please click "Read more" for all the details ...

Humanist and Freethinkers Chat at Paneras Bread, 7344 North Academy

Sunday morning chats have become a strong trend in the Springs non-believer community.
Now its time for the northern end of town to get one also. It will mostly be an informal

April 28: "Freethinkers' Day" at KRCC-FM

04/28/2013 - 07:00
04/28/2013 - 18:00

KRCC — Radio Colorado College — are beginning a Fund Drive, and Sunday, April 28th (and possibly Sunday, May 5th) has been designated “Freethinkers’ Day.” The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs will be manning the phones at KRCC, taking pledges for the Fund Drive (not talking on the air) and we’re asking for your help to fill as many shifts on those days as we can. This will be great publicity for the Freethinkers — our group will get lots of mentions on the air — so we want to fill as many shifts as we can with Freethinkers.
